The Princess

To My Beloved Royalty...

Batman famously called criminals a "superstitious, cowardly lot". Of course, he was talking about street criminals... muggers and the like.... but I believe the same can be said of bullies from school halls to the halls of power. I believe they are afraid, and those they bully are those they want to be smaller. In that light, I present a continuing tour of Penny's nightmarescape.

As the Bard said:

“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once.”

― William ShakespeareJulius Caesar

Today's song may be a tad obvious, but....

Oh, man... Are you seriously going to make me feel sorry for this horrible person?!

Nah, you're probably right. I don't think it's quite as overt as THIS, but there's definitely a lot of truth to what you say.  Hate is definitely all rooted first in fear.

Love the imagery, BTW. Always cool to see nightmares visualized. Don't let her wake up *too* soon, OK? Wink

If you don't already feel sorry for Penny, you haven't been paying attention--her life sucks pretty hard, and she acts out because she has no other form of release. =(

Yes, this is true.  Christine writes very deep and well-developed characters, rather than cardboard, cartoon monsters.  And Penny is not exception.

I still don't like her though. :P
